offers you a unique opportunity to be part of your child’s education and an
important part of the school community.

support fundraising events. The funds raised from these activities are used to
support our children’s learning experiences.

that are occurring at the school, now or in the future, any upcoming fundraising
events, and we have the opportunity to express any general school operation
concerns with the Principal, who attends every P&C meeting.

On behalf of the P&C Association, I would like to invite you to become
involved in the Currumbin Valley State School community.
The P&C Association is a not for
profit organisation relying principally on volunteers for the delivery of
services and the raising of necessary funds for the maintenance and improvement
of the teaching facilities and resources within Currumbin Valley State School.
Over the last
three years the P&C has raised and donated money for:
- The school
- Upgrades to
the playground and sporting facilities
class room iPads and electronic white boards
price drama lessons
Contribution to Sporting School program
- Upgrades to
gardens and vegetable patch
Many of the
major school events are held annually or bi-annually and are eagerly
anticipated by the CVSS community. Without parent volunteers these events
cannot take place:
• Golf Day
• Easter and

would like to make a general donation please contact the P&C Secretary for
further information. Donations to the school Building Fund are also tax deductible;

are made fresh in the Tuckshop or by parents. We utilise the services and products
of local businesses as much as possible.
are always welcome in the tuckshop. You can help by either making food at home,
donating produce or by volunteering sometime in the tuckshop. There is a
sign-up sheet on the notice board beside the tuckshop each term. All
contributions are greatly appreciated.
Shop is open from 8:30am each Friday. We have extra opening times prior to the
start of each school year.
Your P&C needs volunteers like you if it is to
continue to foster co-operation within the school community and to provide
those extra resources that make a difference to every child’s education at
Currumbin Valley State School. To ensure that you keep up to date with upcoming
P&C events please complete the attached membership and volunteer forms and
return them to the school office or the P&C Secretary.
